About

I graduated from the University of Liverpool in 2022 with a BSc in Biological and Medical Sciences. I then studied an MRes in Cancer at Newcastle University. My masters project was “Establishing an in vitro 3D model to investigate drug response to novel therapeutic agents in group 3 medulloblastoma.” This project used inducible MYC shRNA Medulloblastoma Group 3 cell lines were used to see how MYC affects spheroid size, cell viability and assess if novel treatment combinations exhibited MYC dependency in 3D culture. Having thoroughly enjoyed my 3D modelling work, I applied for a technical role focusing on developing new models for Dupytrens disease under the supervision of Professor Fiona Oakley.
