About
I graduated from the University of Leeds in 2022 with a bachelor’s degree in biological sciences. During this time, I spent a year working in the Anthony Nolan Research Institute in London researching how transplants for haematological malignancies can be improved through higher resolution sequencing and matching of donor and recipient HLA genes. Following this I completed my dissertation research investigating the role bile acid plays in the progression of oesophageal adenocarcinoma using 3D in vitro models. I am now undertaking a PhD looking at the potential of targeting fibroblasts in the liver cancer microenvironment for improved immunotherapeutic treatment of hepatocellular carcinoma under Dr. Jack Leslie.
