About

I’m a research associate investigating the relationship between senescence and liver disease.

I graduated from Sheffield University with an MBiolSci in Molecular Biology in 2018. Following this I completed a PhD. at Sheffield in the Materials Science and Engineering working on wound healing and examining how autologous injections of adipose tissue can lead to regeneration of fibrotic scar tissue.

I completed my PhD. studies in 2022 and started work in the NFRG as post-doctoral researcher helping the group optimise single cell sequencing technologies and investigating epigenetics in NAFLD.

In 2024 I started on a newly funded CRUK grant working with Jack Leslie and Derek Mann investigating how neutrophils can influence senescence and steatosis in liver disease.
