Magnesium

Magnesium is the fourth most abundant cation in the body. It is essential for human health, and a deficiency can lead to; hypertension, coronary heart disease, type two diabetes mellitus and metabolic syndrome.

Symptoms of Magnesium Contamination

Excessive intake of magnesium can lead to hypermagnesaemia, which can cause diarrhoea, however; this is rare in people with normal kidney function.
