About

In 2021 I completed my undergraduate project, graduating from the University of Sussex with a BSc (Hons) degree in Biomedical Sciences. This was a data analysis focused project investigating the sequestering of aminoglycosides into vesicles in a Brn3c: GFP zebrafish model and its potential link to ototoxicity. I found my BSc to inspire me to pursue a career in scientific research and therefore applied to work in an NHS Microbiology laboratory.

Currently I am working as a Research Technician under the supervision of Dr Lee Borthwick in collaboration with Chiesi. My work is focused on creating a model for target validation in COPD explant-derived Precision Cut Lung Slices.
