On the 5th of December, Dr. Lauren Davison has been awarded the BALR (British Association for Lung Research) highly commended award at the British Thoracic Society Winter Meeting.

Shortlisted with 5 other young scientists among some other 100 applicants, Lauren ended up winning the 2018 BTS/BALR/BLF Early Career Investigator Finalist Prize and could present her award-winning work entitled:

T4-IL-1R1 Expression on mesenchymal cells drives inflammation and fibrosis in response to epithelial damage in the lung

The whole NFRG Lab is very proud of Lauren for an award that will count in the future development of her starting but already successful researcher career.
