A valuable prize for Newcastle University, NFRG and Dr. Marco Zaki
Six winners of the Newton Prize 2020 were announced at a virtual international event on Wednesday 04 November.
One of the successful projects is an innovative research, lead by Dr Marco Zaki, from Minia University, Egypt, who is a former NFRG PhD student, and Professors Fiona Oakley and Helen Reeves, from Newcastle University. The annual Newton Prize recognises pioneering research that comes from international partnerships, with each project helping to solve global development challenges.
