On Thursday 1st and Friday 2nd of July was held The Inaugural Birmingham Inflammation, Repair and Ageing (BIRA) virtual conference, organised by the Institute of Inflammation and Ageing of the University of Birmingham. On this occasion, Letizia Marchetti, PhD student, presented the results of a collective work developed at NFRG in the session dedicated to obesity, metabolism and ageing. Letizia's talk was entitled:Possible systemic roles of hepatic NFkB1 in inflammageing

As a result, Letizia Marchetti was awarded the Prize for best flash talk presentation.
