Working with LESLLA Learners
This module includes new practices and research that will enable participants to:
- Describe characteristics of LESLLA literacy learners
- Select materials and resources appropriate for the assessed needs of this learner group
- Develop print awareness and recognise sound/symbol correspondence
- Analyse techniques and strategies for incorporating literacy skills into a thematic lesson
- Design and implement an activity and lesson for LESLLA literacy learners
The module was last run May to July 2022. It is hosted on a Moodle platform and offered in English as well as German, Spanish, Turkish and Italian.
