EU-Speak was an eight-year national project (2010-2018) that has worked to make a difference in the educational outcomes for migrants with little or no education. The partners reached nearly 1000 international LESLLA teachers.

What the participants told us about the EU-Speak modules:

• Seeing that others experience some of the same challenges
• Feeling connected and getting great ideas to use
• Learning from the ideas and teaching practices of teachers in different environments
• Trying different things and learning ways to be more effective
• Coming up with new ideas to make teaching a little different
• Ideas of activities or variations that they had not considered
• A unique opportunity for teachers who work with beginning-level adult immigrants to interact
• with teachers in similar situations around the world‌
