‌We work with Dr Pete Robertson and Dr Aileen Mill from the Centre for Wildlife Management based at Newcastle University.

The Centre for Wildlife Managment provide a focus for research activities on human interactions with wild species including:

  • Wildlife disease ecology
  • Population modelling
  • Conflict management
  • The ecology of invasive non-native species
  • The consequences of human actions on wildlife and their habitats

We have been invited to support the UK Squirrel Accord at regional and national events, presenting and providing information on our intelligent trap prototype (WATAMS) at Kelso Sept 2016 and Belfast March 2017.

The UK Squirrel Accord consists of 32 leading woodland, timber industry and conservation organisations in the UK. It was created at the invitation of HRH Prince Charles – who had the aim of bringing a concerted and coordinated approach to securing the future of our red squirrels and woodlands, and to controlling the introduced grey squirrel.
