During this time he led projects in target validation, assay development and translational science. Ian was discovery and project lead for the novel pan-antagonist of the androgen receptor, TRC253 that is now in Phase II, and provided preclinical support for Zytiga (abiraterone acetate), apalutamide (ARN-509) and niraparib for prostate therapy and the HDAC inhibitor, quisinostat. Ian joined Janssen in 2008 from KuDOS Pharmaceuticals where he had successfully led bioscience teams for the ATM, ATR and mTOR projects. Collectively, his industrial tenure has enabled him to gain experience of working across a wide range of target classes. Ian is responsible for the running of Target Identification work, and leads activities within Target Validation and early Project Development. University profile.
