Success for Jess at RSC Postgraduate Symposium

On 10th December 2021, the Royal Society of Chemistry Interest Group for Biological and Medicinal Chemistry held its symposium for postgraduates as a virtual event. Designed to provide a platform for early career scientists to share their latest research, oral and poster presentations were welcomed from postgraduates carrying out their research in biological or medicinal chemistry.

Jessica Graham, a MoSMed PhD student in the Medicinal Chemistry Group, presented her poster on Highly Efficient Buchwald-Hartwig Coupling of Arylamines for DNA-Encoded Library Synthesis’, describing work which has recently been published in The Journal of Organic Chemistry

Her poster was extremely well received and she proceeded to win the People’s Choice award, as voted for by peers and fellow conference attendees.
