Harriet Stanway-Gordon wins at SAgE Faculty Celebration of Research
During week 1st June - 5th June 2020, the Faculty of Science, Agriculture & Engineering (SAgE) at Newcastle University held their inaugural virtual Celebration of Research. The online conference showcased the research of postgraduate researchers across the Faculty, with research talks and posters available for viewing by Newcastle University staff, PG researchers and students throughout the entire week.
Harriet Stanway-Gordon, a PhD student in the Medicinal Chemistry Group, presented her research talk entitled ‘Cyclic Structures for DNA-Encoded Libraries’ which was extremely well received by the judges, who awarded her the Faculty Prize for Best Talk. In addition, Harriet also won a People’s Choice award, which was voted for by her peers and staff members across the Faculty.
