D2K oversaw the infrastructure, administrative and strategic management of the 1958 Birth Cohort Biomedical Resource.

 D2K leads the academic side of the collaboration to developing a prototype software to visualise biomedical cohort data in virtual reality.

D2K led scoping of the application of DataSHIELD to academic publishing and digital humanities.

BBMRI

BBMRI-LPC (Biobanking and Biomolecular Resources Research Infrastructure – Large Prospective Cohorts. 

BioSHaRE-EU

An EU FP7 funded project in which D2K led the implementation DataSHIELD (and other tools) to allow researchers to analyse pooled data from different cohort and biobank studies within the consortium. D2K members also examined the social and epistemic implications of tools and methodologies for biobank standardisation, harmonisation and data sharing.

BRISSKit

D2K members led the integration of DataSHIELD into BRISSKit.

e-HIRC Scotland

Junior partner within the e-HIRC Scotland to develop informatics tools for application to medical data.
