Project

D2K leads the Seeing is Believing project - collborating with industry partners to develop virtual reality software for the exploration and analysis of biomedical data. The current prototype has been built to work on simulated ALSPAC longitudinal observational data.

The project was founded via the 2015 Epic Games - Wellcome Trust Big Data VR Competition in which biomedical data sets were paired with industry computer games developers to prototype novel ways for viewing data in VR. This project builds on the winning entry from Masters of Pie and Lumacode using ALSAPC data.
