Objectives: To integrate novel real-time sensors and cutting-edge soft sensor models (developed within the WP) with outputs from WP1 - WP3 and thus enabling more effective bioprocess monitoring in the manufacturing environment.
Description: Project 4.A and Project 4.B (host Acreo), Project 4.C and Project 4.D (host LIU) and Project 4.E (UNEW)
Project 4.A: Task 4.1 – Development of electronics for biochips for product detection; Task 4.2 – Testing integrated biochips for product detection with model compounds.
Project 4.B: Task 4.3 –Development of electronics for biochips for media composition measurement; Task 4.4 – Testing integrated biochips for media composition measurement with model compounds.
Project 4.C: Task 4.5 –Bioprocess & electronic sensor data integration for monitoring in bioreactor; Task 4.6 – Testing of the soft sensor in industrial case studies (CHN, FUJI, SAN).
Project 4.D: Task 4.7 –Bioprocess & electronic sensor data integration for process monitoring in DSP; Task 4.8 – Testing of the soft sensor in industrial case studies (CHN, FUJI, SAN).
Project 4.E: Task 4.9 –Overall integration of modelling framework for process development; Task 4.10 – Testing of the framework in industrial case studies (CHN, FUJI, SAN).
