ROMtels software lets teachers combine images, video, and audio – particularly open source and copyright-free media - to create their own enquiries.

Teachers should be aware of who owns the original copyrighted works they are reusing, and whether they need a license/permission to reuse them as part of an enquiry. In general, if in doubt about whether you require a license/permission to use a copyrighted work (in the UK copyright always exists, and is an automatic right) you should seek permission from the copyright holder.

This ROMtels project is not able to provide legal advice on copyright. We have however found the following links useful:
