The International Workshop on Scleroderma Research is a 4-day research meeting focusing on translational medicine related to systemic sclerosis and is held once every 2 years. It is organized and executed by the University of Pittsburgh Division Of Rheumatology and Clinical Immunology and the Centre for Rheumatology and Connective Tissue Disorders at University College London (Royal Free Hospital Campus), in association with Boston University School of Medicine.
The meeting highlights areas key to making advances in clinical research in systemic sclerosis and is typically attended and presented by thought leaders in associated complications.
At this occasion, Dr Julie Worrell, Postdoctoral Researcher at NFRG has presented her abstract entitled: ‘REGULATION OF FIBROBLAST PHENOTYPE, FUNCTIONALITY AND MATRIX PRODUCTION BY THE NF- κB SUBUNIT c-REL IN FIBROSIS’
Her abstract will be published in the next edition of the Journal of Scleroderma Related Disorders.
