Newcastle, UK. 20 Jan. 2015. Rosaleen gave a presentation of the project ‘Translating cultures and the legislated mediation of indigenous rights in Peru’ at the Newcastle University CLACS Away Day.
5-7 Sept. 2015. Rosaleen attended the meeting of the European Network for the Study of Andean Languages (REELA) held at the University of Leiden, convened by Professor Willem Adelaar and his team. She gave a joint paper entitled ‘Translating and interpreting in Andean and Amazonian languages: implementation of indigenous language rights in Peru’.
10-11 Sept. 2015. Rosaleen gave a joint paper entitled ‘Translating and Interpreting in the Context of Mediation for Indigenous Rights in Peru’ to the Talking to the World 2 (TTTW2) Conference on Translating and Interpreting at Newcastle University, convened by Dr Fred Wu.
22 Jan. 2016. Raquel gave a presentation on the project to staff and PGR students.

7-8 April 2016. Rosaleen is convening a panel at the Society for Latin American Studies Annual Conference at the University of Liverpool. Panel title: ‘Bridging languages, knowledge systems, and identities in contemporary Latin America’. Both Luis and Rosaleen will give papers.
