Translating Cultures Peru

Translating Cultures: indigenous language rights in Peru in the law and in practice

Our project looks at the relationship between indigenous rights and linguistic rights in Peru against the background of state policies introduced in 2011. We are funded by the Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC) as part of their Translating Cultures Theme.

Explore the site to find out about the work of the speakers of Peru's indigenous languages in defense of their language rights.
