The SUCCESS team recently hosted a stakeholder meeting on the 13th October, 2015 in order to gauge the perceptions of the public and to determine the next steps of the project. The stakeholders also had a chance to view the experiments on site while cone penetration testing was taking place. Overall, a very positive response was received. The newsletter is available here.

Measured calcium carbonate content of soils to 100 mm depth at a large urban development site has increased over 18 months at a rate that corresponds to the sequestration of 85 tonnes CO2 per hectare (ha-1) (8.5 kg CO2 m-2) annually.
