SUCCESS ecologist presents research on urban brownfields at BES A

Mark Goddard presented his research paper entitled ‘Brownfield ecosystem multifunctionality: Engineering urban soils for carbon capture, biodiversity and other ecosystem services’ at the British Ecological Society Annual Meeting which was held in Liverpool 11 – 14^th December (https://eventmobi.com/bes2016/agenda/207583/1075293).  The research was covered by a number of media outlets across the UK, including local television, The Chronicle (http://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/news/north-east-news/newcastle-university-expert-calls-urban-12311599), The Yorkshire Post and the Scotsman, in addition to the German national radio station Deutschlandfunk (http://www.deutschlandfunk.de/uebersehene-co2-fallen-staedtische-brachflaechen-lagern.676.de.html?dram:article_id=375117).
