NETPH - the North Africa, Eastern Mediterranean and Turkey Public Health Network, is a pilot project launched in December 2013, to fill a gap in formal web-based learning facilities tailored to training either around the social determinants of health, or generic research skills for the Mediterranean region.  

Designed by the RESCAP-MED team at St George's, University of London, as part of WP5, it aims to:

  • Encourage interaction between public health specialists in North Africa, Eastern Mediterranean & Turkey
  • Provide training materials for public health professionals
  • Provide a detailed literature library of relevant material that focuses primarily on non-communicable diseases
  • Provide recent report and features relating to public health in the NETPH region
