Sara obtained her diploma in Biology from the University of Granada and completed an Erasmus programme at the University of Leuven. Sara then obtained her Master's degree in Immunology at the University of Granada. Sara is currently in her 1st year of PhD, which focuses on using genome-editing and hESCs for disease modelling.
Sara has been awarded Disease Models & Mechanisms (DDM) Travelling Fellowship in 2015.
