Magomet Aushev

Magomet Aushev obtained his BSc (Hons) in Biotechnology from Newcastle University, and then completed an MRes in Stem Cells and Regenerative Medicine. He is now in his 3rd year of PhD studies at Newcastle carrying out research for the development of ex vivo gene therapy for blistering skin diseases. 

Magomet was awarded the NESCI Research Day: Best Poster prize (2013), the Rene Touraine Foundation Fellowship (2014), and was shortlisted for SET for Britain 2014 to present a poster at the House of Commons.
