Synthetic Biology team present at SB7.0 conference in Singapore

Prof. Anil Wipat gave a very well recieved presentation on the SynBioHub, a synthetic biology online repository developed by his team in the Interdisciplinary Computing and Complex Biosystems research group (ICOS)

Valeria Verrone and Dr Lucy Eland both presented posters on NUFEB's work on using CRISPR for complex microbial communities and the use of optical tweezers and microfluidics for manipulating and measuring growth of bacteria in such communities.

The conference was an excellent opportunity to network with other members of the synthetic community and to be inspired by the fascinating research being carried out around the world.
