The Portuguese Society for Engineering Education (SPEE)
SPEE’s mission is to promote engineering education through a diversity of means, including project dissemination, personal and institutional cooperation and interchange, development of the academics’ teaching skills and methodologies, and problem analysis and solving. SPEE counts as institutional members all the main Portuguese Higher Education engineering institutions and as individual members academic staff of engineering departments at universities and polytechnics. In order to accomplish its mission SPEE aims to contribute to the research activities and professional development of its members, to organize, give support and participate in conferences, symposia, seminars and workshops on themes related to engineering education, both nationally and internationally. It publishes a newsletter with articles from its members and events related to engineering education.
