This month sees the start of a brand new research project, INTO-CPS, which will concentrate on model-based design of cyber-physical systems (CPSs). INTO-CPS will create an integrated "tool chain" for comprehensive Model-Based Design (MBD) of CPS. The tool chain will support the multidisciplinary, collaborative modelling of CPSs from requirements, through design, down to realisation in hardware and software.
INTO-CPS is an international research project with partners from seven European countries, funded by the European Commission's Horizon 2020 programme and co-ordinated by Aarhus University in Denmark. CPLab staff from Newcastle will be contributing over the course of the project's three-year lifespan. Check the INTO-CPS website for more details on the project's work.
INTO-CPS operates an "interest group", a club for external practioners, who will receive updates on the project's work and provide feedback and input. New members are always welcome - check the INTO-CPS page on how to join.
