New project CPSE Labs kicks off
Last month saw the kick off of an exciting and brand CPS new, pan-European research project, CPSE Labs. This is an Innovation Action, funded by the European Union under the Horizon 2020 programme, designed to help SMEs and other organisations around Europe exploit cutting edge CPS technology.
A network of expert CPS design centres located around Europe provide funding and technical support for CPS experiments which can aid SMEs in the marketplace. Open calls for proposals will be published by the network throughout the three years of the CPSE Labs project. SMEs and their partners can form small consortia to submit proposals to the network in response. Proposals will be for experiments to be carried out, and the application process is lightweight and agile, designed to be SME-friendly. Newcastle is the CPS design centre for the UK within the CPSE Labs project.
The first calls for proposals will be published in the coming months and a website with materials and details will be up soon; keep an eye on the CPLab Twitter feed (see Contact Information) or website news section for details.
