This forum will launch the European cluster «Smart Anything Everywhere» consisting of 4 networks of regional competence centres, funded with 26 M€. This includes the CPSE Labs project; Newcastle University is a partner on CPSE Labs.
The ultimate goal is to facilitate access to latest technologies in the areas of systems and components. The launch event will provide a forum to discuss capabilities of electronics and ICT technologies for supporting SMEs who build innovative and competitive "smart" products. In addition, France will present its experience with a complementary initiative to foster innovation in SMES.
Day 1 on 26th March will introduce SME success stories from the CAP'TRONIC Initiative as well as a set of new platforms aimed to ease the access of SMEs to electronics and ICT innovation (presentations and discussions on Day 1 are in French).
Day 2 on 27th March will introduce the European vision about the enabling role of electronics and ICT as well as new tools to facilitate the access of SMEs to electronics and ICT innovation and providing networking opportunities.
SMEs are particularly welcome to register for the launch event.
