My Child is 8-30 Months
If you have an Arabic-speaking child aged between 8-30 months we would like to invite you to take part in this study.
What does it involve?
This study involves completing a checklist called the CDI (Communicative Development Inventory) to help us understand how children's language develops.
The checklist contains 100 words written in the dialect that your child is familiar with. We want to know which of these words your child says and/or understands.
What do I need to do?
- Follow this link to the CDI toddler version.
- Select whether you would prefer to complete the form in Arabic or English.
- You will then be asked to create a profile for you and your child.
- Follow the instructions to complete the CDI. This involves selecting whether your child says and/or understands a list of 100 words.
- You will receive a login in case you wish to pause the questionnaire and come back to it later. You will receive an email when you finish the questionnaire to remind you about what you have taken part in. We store all data securely. If you were to change your mind you may ask us to remove your data for up to one month following completion of the CDI.
