My Child is 30-48 Months
If you have an Arabic-speaking child aged between 30-48 months we would like to invite you to take part in this study.
What does it involve?
This study involves completing a checklist called the CDI (Communicative Development Inventory) to help us understand children's language development.
The checklist contains 100 words and sentences. For the words, we want to know which of them your child says and which they do not say yet. For the sentences, we ask you to tick the sentences that are most similar to the sentences that your child says.
These words and sentences are written in the dialect that your child is familiar with.
What do I need to do?
- Select whether you would prefer to complete the form in Arabic or English.
- You will then be asked to create a profile for you and your child.
- Follow the instructions to complete the CDI. This involves selecting the words your child says now and the sentences that are closest to the sentences your child says.
- You will receive a login in case you wish to pause the questionnaire and come back to it later. You will receive an email when you finish the questionnaire to remind you about what you have taken part in. We store all data securely. If you were to change your mind you may ask us to remove your data for up to one month following completion of the CDI.
