Zakiyah Alsiddiqi

I’m a teaching assistant at King Saud University in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and a pediatric speech and language therapist. Currently I'm a PhD student (i.e., intended to submit thesis on January) at the University of Reading.

My PhD research explored the relationships between oral language skills and emergent literacy skills in Saudi Arabic Speaking children with and without developmental language disorder, supervised by Professor Vesna Stojanovick and Dr. Emma Pagnamenta.

My main future aim is to continue my research career and contribute to the field by helping raising awareness about DLD in general and the Arab community in particular.
