Khalid Al-Shdifat is an assistant professor in communication sciences and disorders in the Department of Rehabilitation Sciences at the Faculty of Applied Medical Sciences, Jordan University of Science and Technology, Irbid, Jordan.

His research interests include speech and language development in normally developing and children with language and developmental disorders, the effects of speech and language development on literacy development, development of universal screening devices in Arabic to help in the early detection of at risk children of reading failure at school.
