Bulbul Jordan’s team, consisting of Dr. Khaled Al-Shdeifat and research assistants Nour Al-Aryan and Alaa Al-Ibini, organized a workshop entitled “Raising awareness about the importance of normal language development in children and Introducing a tool for measuring the development of communication in children in Arabic, Arabic CDI”, on Thursday 31/3/2022 at Ajloun. The workshop included various activities, the first of which was the welcoming and introduction between the invitees. This was followed by a presentation entitled “Language development in children and its future effects”, during which the research assistants Nour and Alaa gave an explanation of the future social and functional effects of language development in the early years of children. Followed by a presentation in which research assistants introduced the Bulbul project and its objectives and provided a detailed explanation of the steps for using the Arabic CDI tool. A team of audiologists from the Jordanian university of Science and Technology carried out hearing screenings, fitting hearing aids and calibrated them during this event.
