NFRG boys mobilised for Movember

The "Fibrostache Team" of NFRG Lab raises £232.50 for Movember

Dr Lee Borthwick, Dr Saimir Luli, William Reily, William Mulvaney and Ben Barksby have patiently let their mustaches grow for a month supporting the Movember Foundation and raising money within the Institute of Cellular Medicine of Newcastle University.

Their efforts paid off as the could gather more than £230 in order to support Men's health projects focusing on prostate cancer, testicular cancer, and mental health and suicide prevention.

During MOVEMBER, the month formerly known as November, there are three ways to get involved to support men’s health: Grow a mustache, challenge yourself to Move, or Host an event.

Our researchers have chosen the first option during a whole month and here is the result! Congratulations to the five of them!

Important notice: There is no good moment to support men's health projects, you can do so all year long. So, please, visit the Movember website and click HERE to donate.
