Erin Robson

Erin is a Chartered Town Planner working in the Planning Policy and Economics team in Newcastle.
Erin has experience of working on complex planning schemes, making representations to planning applications and development plan documents on behalf of clients and also local authority-side, assessing both minor and major development schemes.
She has worked on a range of planning consents, including housing schemes, renewable energy and infrastructure projects. Erin has an excellent understanding of infrastructure planning and working, both with and for, local authorities to deliver major development permissions.
From a developer perspective, she has detailed knowledge of the development process and key planning application stages, from initial concept design, option assessment, pre-application consultation, planning application and preparation of supporting material through to application submission, negotiation and subsequent discharge of conditions and submission of reserved matter applications.
Her local authority development management experience relates to both minor and householder applications, as well as assessment of major developments, from pre-application assessment, screening and scoping exercises, through to assessment of outline and full planning submissions, including reserved matters submissions, discharge of conditions and appeals.
Areas of expertise include site appraisals, consents submissions, master planning, local plan representation, development management planning, public presentations and stakeholder engagement.
