Professor Zheng Bo's biography:
Dr. Zheng Bo is a professor of College of Energy Engineering at Zhejiang University and State Key Laboratory of Clean Energy Utilization. He received his B.E. degree and Ph.D. degree (in Engineering Thermophysics) in 2003 and 2008, respectively, from Zhejiang University. During 2009-2011, he was a postdoctoral research associate in Mechanical Engineering at University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee. After that he joined Zhejiang University as an Associate Professor in 2011, and was promoted to Professor in 2015. He is a Young Changjiang Scholar, Excellent Young Scholar of National Science Foundation of China, and was awarded the Excellent PhD Dissertation of China (Top 100) issued by Ministry of Education of China.

Dr. Bo’s current research focuses on nanoscale heat and mass transport and related nanomaterial based energy and environmental applications. His research has led to 1 book (Springer Publisher) and 63 journal SCI-indexed papers, published on Chemical Society Reviews, Energy & Environmental Science, Advanced Materials, International Journal of Heat & Mass Transfer, Nano Energy, Journal of Physical Chemistry Letters, etc. His papers have been cited for over 2,000 times (ISI Web of Knowledge), including 6 highly cited paper. 

Dr. Bo is currently the deputy director of the Commission on Education and Science of Zhejiang Electric Power Society, and the Editorial Board Member of Nano-Micro Letters, Scientific Reports, and ES Energy and Environment. He was the Chair of the 2nd BRICS Young Scientists Forum in 2017, held by the Ministry of Science and Technology of China. He served as the reviewer for more than 60 international journals, including Nature Communications, and the reviewer for NSF/DOE projects (USA) and NSFC projects (China).
