Professor Tony Roskilly Professor Roskilly's biography: Professor Roskilly has 30 years’ experience in the design, control, and operational optimisation of energy systems and manages a very large research team and portfolio of research projects. He has published over 130 journal articles over the last 5 years and he has received almost 2800 citations for his research papers over this period. He has performed a number of academic journal editorial roles and is currently an Associate Editor of Applied Energy. Over the last 3 years, Professor Roskilly has successfully supervised 14 PhD and 9 MPhil graduating students. Professor Roskilly is a member of the Science Board of the Energy Storage Supergen Hub, and the national contact for the European Energy Research Alliance Joint Programmes for Energy Efficiency in Industrial Processes and Energy Systems Integration. He has recently been a research review panel member for the UKRI, Swiss-Argentina Research Program, Swiss National Science Foundation, National Scientific and Technical Research Council and the Ministry of Science, Technology and Productive Innovation (Argentina); Applied and Engineering Research Program, Ministry of Science, Technology and Space, Israel; National Research Foundation, Prime Minister’s Office, Singapore. He is a member of the Leverhulme Trust Advisory Panel and EPSRC Peer Review Associate College. He has a NSF and Royal Society Research Programme with Zhejiang University and a number of joint energy research programmes with Shanghai Jiao Tong University, North China Electric Power University, Xiamen University and Tianjin University.
