Dr Saisameera Mitta has received her PhD in physics from University of Rome "Tor vergata", Rome, Italy. Her PhD work is on the morphological characterization of metallic corrole molecules and reduced graphene oxide adsorbed on AU(111) and HOPG especially using Scanning Tunneling Microscopy. She worked as a post-doctoral research associate for a year in the Sapienza University of Rome before joining Newcastle University.
Research Interests
Lithium-ion battery materials, electrochemistry of lithium-ion batteries and their applications in energy storage, Scanning Probe Microscopic techniques, electrochemical impedance spectroscopy.
