The SHAPES research programme aims to explore whether there are measures of adiposity in early pregnancy that can be used to identify which women, pregnant people, and their babies, might benefit from additional care during pregnancy. 

There are three phases to SHAPES

1. SHAPES Cohort Study
2. SHAPES Individual Participant Data Study
3. Cost Effectiveness Study
