Middle Classes Reading Group

'Middle class' is a contested term and is understood in varying ways. 

This reading group is an opportunity for our SCArFE researchers working in the different international contexts to develop definition(s) of the middle class to be used in the Project.

The meeting will be held at Newcastle University and attended in person by UK-based SCArFE members, and by Skype for those overseas.

The literature has been discussed and developed by teams working in each of the international case studies.
