The research areas covered by ReFINE were chosen based on discussions with public, policy makers and academics during the early stages of the project. These discussions highlighted areas of public concern, as wells as areas that were lacking in peer-reviewed academic research. This led to the six broad areas of research below being identified.
All published, peer-reviewed, scientific articles based on research related to, or funded by, the ReFINE project is available from Publications. Also available are "Research Briefs" - short documents aimed at non-scientists summarising the key findings of our research.
