Work Package 7

Communication brief and knowledge launch

WP 7 will be led by Alex Johnstone and Emma Stevenson with contributions from all academic staff and industry stakeholders.

The communication brief will be a written document summarising the findings from the study along with a toolkit for stakeholder engagement. The toolkit could include infographics, short video summaries, press-release statements, twitter statements and PowerPoint slides for uptake by various stakeholders (NHS, food industry, food retailers, general public and academia). This will highlight the study findings and opportunities for further grant applications or commercial funding to support longer-term intervention studies. The knowledge launch will be a half-day event hosted at Campden BRI to which all members of Campden BRI will be invited. The project team will present the main findings of the research and also highlight the communication brief and toolkit. Members will be encouraged to provide feedback on the study and engage in discussions on future collaborative opportunities.

Outcome and deliverable: This WP represents a conclusion to the study to present and highlight the main findings. Deliverable will be the knowledge launch and circulation of the communication brief and toolkit to all grant partners and collaborators.  A more general roadmap for the development of nutritional strategies in the prevention and management of conditions will also be developed.
