This inaugural North East Performance Network Symposium was co-organised with Dr Rachel Hann (Northumbria). This symposium brought together academics and practitioners from across the region, for lightning talks and speed-dating-style networking. This achieved a sense of the mosaic of performance-related research and practice being undertaken in the North East, and to created new connections and future collaborations. The new network is building on the PRN and the Performance Cultures research cluster at Northumbria.
