"How We Made a New Art on Old Ground": Interdisciplinary Perspectives on Language, Migration and Identity
This conference brings together an international, interdisciplinary group of scholars in a well-respected research library which is right in the heart of a national museum housing material culture relating to Irish-American emigration.
The format combines short talks with longer periods of discussion, to encourage face-to-face debate of issues relating to the key themes of identity, migration, language and the conception of space.
