Developing and evaluating policy options

This work package is led by Rana Khatib and Abdullatif Husseini at the Institute of Community and Public health - Birzeit University in the occupied Palestinian territory.

The objectives are:

- To review possible policy interventions, based on interviews and reviews of documentation in WP5.
- With input from stakeholders, to develop a shortlist of possible policy options in each country for detailed analyses.
- Using the previously developed model (WP3 and WP4) to quantify the preventive effects of changes of these selected policy options in each study country.
- To quantify the costs of selected policy options and perform cost-effectiveness analyses, using the previously developed model (WP4).
- To shortlist a few policy options based on the results of these model analyses and stakeholder involvement.
- To propose implementation plans for selected policy options.
