MedCHAMPS is an FP7 Health Programme topic - Specific International Co-operation Actions (SICA) for health systems research - with Mediterranean Partner countries
This work package is led by Simon Capewell, and Dr Martin O'Flaherty at Liverpool University in collaboration with partners in the four Mediterranean countries.
The objectives of WP3 :
- To agree amendments or adaptations which may be required for the IMPACT model to reflect local epidemiology in the three ICPC countries and Turkey.
- To programme these amendments, test and debug appropriately adapted versions of the model.
- For all consortium members (particularly junior researchers in EU countries) to understand key features of CVD and diabetes epidemiology in the study countries (Palestine, Syria, Tunisia and Turkey).
