ecancer: Professor Anthony Moorman on ALL December 2019

Professor Anthony Moorman speaks to ecancer at the 2019 ASH meeting in Orlando about a study looking at the prognostic impact of chromosomal abnormalities and copy number alterations in B-cell precursor ALL treated on UKALL14.

He reports a new subgroup was identified for patients with a new genetic abnormality known as the JAK-STAT abnormality and they were found to have very poor outcomes.

Professor Moorman also reports that they looked at patients with secondary copy number alterations which was not seen to predict outcomes in adult ALL.
